ALTAIR was founded in 1993 at the initiative of a multidisciplinary group of engineers, with the aim of providing high quality services aimed at a market specialized in the oil industry.

Since its inception, the company has stood out for its organization, excellent service, quality human resource and its high competitiveness, thus achieving continuous growth and market positioning, especially in the oil sector, as a leading company, innovative and constantly improving, willing and able to face changes.

As an example of the above, ALTAIR gradually expanded geographically: nationally, services have been provided in all the main cities, such as Bogotá, Cali, Medellin, Barranquilla, Cartagena, Bucaramanga, Ibague, Neiva, Meal, Barrancabermeja, Cartago, among other. In the year 2002 the firm began negotiations that led to the opening of new markets internationally, reaching countries like Peru, Ecuador, Panama, The Savior, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Chile and the United States in the State of Florida.

Over time the company has been expanding its services and becoming a support for its customers, thanks to the managerial commitment, as well as that of all the human resources that participate in this project called ALTAIR.
